What we collect, why we have it, and what we will never do with it.

Who this policy covers

Bobbie Jean's Clean & Tidy is an owner-operated cleaning and turnover business based in Meridian, Idaho, serving the Treasure Valley. This policy covers this website, the quote form, and the messages, photographs, and records that come out of the jobs we do.

Our clients are real estate agents, property managers, and owners. Sometimes the person living in the home is not the person who hired us. This policy covers their information too, because they did not choose us and they still deserve care.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote a job, do it well, and get paid for it. There is no advertising network here and no data broker on the other end of this form.

• Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email, brokerage or management company
• Property details: address, square footage, bedrooms and bathrooms, access instructions, lockbox or gate codes, whether the home is occupied
• Job records: quotes, invoices, condition notes, dates, and the checklist for each visit
• Photographs of the interior of the property, taken as documentation of condition
• Messages you send us by form, email, or text
• Basic website and hosting logs, such as the pages requested and the general location of the request

Photographs, said out loud

Photo documentation is the heart of what we sell, so here is exactly how it works. We photograph rooms, surfaces, appliances, and any damage we find. We do so to record the condition of the property, not the people in it.

We do not photograph people. We do not photograph documents, screens, mail, medication, or anything that looks personal, and if belongings are still in the home we frame the shot to show the condition of the room rather than the contents. If you ask us not to photograph a specific room, we will not, and we will note in writing that it was excluded at your request.

Photos of a job go to the person who hired us. We keep our copy for about 24 months so a condition question months later can still be answered, then we delete them. We do not post job photos publicly unless the owner or manager of that property tells us in writing that we may, and even then we exclude anything identifying.

How we use it

Quoting, scheduling, doing the work, documenting condition, invoicing, keeping our own records straight, and answering you when you write to us. That is the whole list.

• We do not sell your information. Not to anyone, at any price
• We do not rent, trade, or share it for advertising
• We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote

Who else sees it

A short list of people, each for a reason we can name.

• The licensed contractor we subcontract for handyman and repair work, when repairs are part of your job. He receives the address, the access details, and the scope, and he is required to keep them confidential and to use them only for that job
• Any team member assigned to the job, limited to what that job requires
• The owner, manager, or agent who hired us, who receives the condition notes and photos
• Our bookkeeping, invoicing, scheduling, and email providers, who process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for anything else
• Law enforcement or a court, only if we are legally required, or if someone is in danger

Calls, texts, and email

When you give us your phone number, we take it as permission to call or text you about your quote and your job. Those are working messages, not marketing. Reply STOP to a text and we stop texting, and reply STOP to any email and we do the same. Your carrier may charge you for messages the way it normally would.

How long we keep things

Quotes that never became jobs are deleted within a year. Job records and invoices are kept as long as Idaho tax and recordkeeping practice calls for, generally seven years. Photos are kept for about 24 months as described above. Access codes and lockbox details are deleted as soon as the job is closed.

How we protect it

Phones and computers are locked with a passcode and encrypted. Accounts use strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication. Access codes are never written where they can be seen from a truck window or left in a shared note. Photos live in accounts only we can open.

No business can promise a system is impossible to break into, and we will not pretend otherwise. If personal information is ever exposed in a breach, we will notify affected Idaho residents in line with Idaho Code sections 28-51-104 through 28-51-107, which requires notice within 45 days of discovery, and we will notify the Idaho Attorney General when the law requires it.

Your choices

Idaho does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute, so most of what follows is what we offer because we think it is right rather than because a statute forces it.

• Ask us what we have about you, and we will tell you
• Ask us to correct something that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your contact information and photos, and we will, except for records we must keep for tax or legal reasons
• Ask us to stop texting, emailing, or calling
• Ask for a copy of the photos from your own property
• If you live in a state with a privacy law that gives you formal access, deletion, or opt-out rights, tell us and we will honor them as written

Children

This site is for people hiring a cleaning and repair service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a child sends us something through the form, write to us and we will delete it.

If this policy changes

When we change how we handle information, we change this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant and we have your email, we will tell you directly instead of hoping you check.
